Stable housing is the foundation for health, safety, and opportunity. When individuals and families no longer have to worry about where they’ll sleep or how they’ll afford rent, they experience improved physical and mental health, greater economic stability, and reduced risk of harm.
North Carolina is experiencing a critical shortage of affordable housing. This crisis disproportionately affects people with low incomes, individuals returning to the community after incarceration, those experiencing homelessness, and communities historically excluded from housing access.
At Carolinas CARE Partnership, we are committed to meeting each person’s support needs with fairness, care, and respect for their unique circumstances.
Housing Navigation & Case Management We help individuals identify safe, affordable housing options and connect with available resources.
Short-Term and Transitional Housing Support For those in immediate need, we offer temporary housing assistance and referrals to emergency shelter partners.
Rental Assistance & Eviction Prevention We support eligible individuals and families in maintaining housing stability through financial assistance and landlord mediation.
Supportive Services for Priority Populations Including people living with HIV, individuals reentering the community after incarceration, and those managing behavioral health conditions.
We work with local housing providers, public agencies, and community partners to expand access and reduce barriers to housing.
Grant Station Apartments, a program of Carolinas CARE Partnership, is a family-focused community with 18 income-restricted units in Mecklenburg County, NC. We provide safe, affordable housing paired with supportive services to help families grow, stabilize, and thrive. Our commitment to fair housing ensures residents are empowered well beyond housing.
Some of our housing programs have specific eligibility criteria, which may limit immediate access for some individuals. However, we are actively working to expand our services to better meet the needs of our community.
If you’re interested in partnering with us, supporting our housing work, or learning more about how to get involved, we welcome your collaboration.
